I would have to say that the best mob/gangster movie I have seen would be The Untouchables. Pulp Fiction is a close 2nd one for me.

I don't know if Pulp Fiction falls into that category. My favorite would have to be Casino. Goodfellas a close 2nd

I really hate to be cliche here as I have actually seen tons of mafia/ gangster films. But my favorites still fall around The Godfather and Scarface. Those movies are just too awesome not to love.

The Godfather is a movie that my dad will sit down and watch with me- and he doesn't like mafia-based movies. We do own The Untouchables though- on Laser Disc, so we can't watch it right now. I like it, because it's a true TRUE story. It also has Kevin Bacon, Andy Garcia, Sean Connery, and who could forget Robert De Niro? I haven't seen Goodfellas yet... Holy crap- Reservoir Dogs! Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth, Steve Buscemi, and Michael Madsen...  |

haven't seen GoodFellas?...  ...to me, no other mob movie can top GoodFellas...not only my favorite mob movie, but my second favorite movie of all time... |

yeah I like t hat line too. I like the Godfather too but not as much as the untouchables.
