So yeah, if you don't like this movie, you can just go to Hell, lol (out of love people).
This movie is about the Apollo mission that went wrong. With academy award winning director Ron Howard, and an all star cast featuring Tom Hanks, Ed Harris, Bill Paxton, Kevin Bacon, and Gary Sinise, this movie is bound to capture the hearts of it's audience.
Jim Lovell (Tom Hanks) is the commander of Apollo 13, with his crew Jim Haise (Bill Paxton) and Jack Swigert (Kevin Bacon). This would be his last mission, as he was in command of the best crew that the world could offer.
All was well, up until a malfunction in the oxygen tanks of their shuttle. Being blown off course, now they have to find a way to survive in the ship, knowing that they won't be landing on the moon.
Gene Kranz (Ed Harris) who is in command of the NASA center in Houston, has to find a way to get them back to Earth, as the power in the ship is running low. Being stressed with knowing that the Carbondioxide level in the ship is growing higher every minute that they are up there, he gets Ken Mattingly (Gary Sinise) who was replaced by Jack Swigert on the mission because of fear of the measels. The clock is ticking as everyone in NASA tries to find a way for the space crew on board Apollo 13 to preserve the power so they can have enough to get back to Earth.
I really like this movie- Tom Hanks is brilliant, along with Bill Paxton and the famous Kevin Bacon. If you haven't seen it, you really should...
