Ok, let's play a game. Someone posts a part of the lyrics to one song and then everyone tries to guess what song and from what artist it is from. When someone guesses it, he or she posts another part of a song's lyrics. But to not have a whole page of just wrong guesses, another rule is that you can give out the answer if no one answers correctly after 5 posts. So well, here's my first one. I must warn you, it's extremely EASY: "God, it's so painful. Something that is so close, but still so far to reach. Oh yeah, alright. Take it easy baby, make it last all night. She was...an American girl". If you don't get that one then you can't get anyone.

Here's one: "let us be lovers we'll marry our fortunes together I've got some real estate here in my bag So we bought a pack of cigarettes and mrs. wagner pies" EDIT: I just noticed this one is kind of hard depending on what you listen to.

America by Simon and Garfunkel, Yes, or Josh Groban.
ok here's one: "There is no future for us to suture Your life ill fated, beat down and hated Shot in the head, walking undead Numb to the world, around your head RIP my skin from my bones, I won't bleed RIP my heart from my chest , I won't scream"

Dunno but it sounds depressing... No-one will get this one. Its a one liner. Have a crack if you wish.
I'd rather drink than f***!
So who knows that? Bonus if you tell me the album.

I'm guessing the Dropkick Murphys.
Here's mine because I'm good like that!
"Last night your shadow fell upon my lonely room I touched your golden hair and tasted your perfume Your eyes were filled with love the way they used to be Your gentle hand reached out to comfort me Then came the dawn And you were gone You were gone, gone, gone"

here's another: "Lungs are filled with tubes of waste Kung-Fu pills swallowed in haste Nothing holy, nothing chaste Will ever keep the weathered leather from falling off your face Or sterilize this place " I'm guessing the Dropkick Murphys. Here's mine because I'm good like that! "Last night your shadow fell upon my lonely room I touched your golden hair and tasted your perfume Your eyes were filled with love the way they used to be Your gentle hand reached out to comfort me Then came the dawn And you were gone You were gone, gone, gone" I Had Too Much To Dream Last Night by Electric Prunes

I had forgotten about this thread Well, it doesn't matter much anyways, coz I have no idea about most of them. Except that last one by FluffyJuney. That's Depeche Mode's Personal Jesus. Here's another easy one, one of my favorite songs ever: "It's a pretty good crowd for a Saturday, and the manager gives me a smile. Coz he knows that it's me, that they've been coming to see to forget about life for a while"
