After 6 years of playing on a beautifully crafted Bach Alto Trombone, that I became very comfortable with over my 6 years of playing, I've finally upgraded to one hell of an instrument! Ladies and gents feast your eyes on a Custom Bach Tenor Trombone, a $3,500 that is customly built just to my likings. The dynamics, the weight, the mouthpiece was tailored exactly to my playing style. Simply it's a piece of art and looks absolutely gorgeous. Even that crest on the front fender of the instrument is custom! I simply love this thing, with that slide I've been able to play all sorts of tunes, it's so...slick and with the big IHSA (International Highschool Solo Assembly) contests coming up, I should easily score my 3rd #1 ranking in a row, exciting times these are.

God, I miss playing the trombone. I can't even read notes anymore I'd take private lessons, but I have no money, and they won't let me join band again My trombone was bought for 150 bucks. It was slightly dented in places, but it worked very well and got the job done. I could also play the euphonium VERY well. But, as I say, I can't even read notes and my embouchure..think I'm spelling that wrong...is total sh*t. Pretty trombone, though.

When my band is desperate, I play Euphorium/Baritone as well in addition to my pretty sick violin skills. It's cool to find another musician...or well former one. By the way if you don't mind me asking...how come you can't join band anymore? Just curious... Oh and by the way, did you know on trombone you can easily and perfectly play the whole last 40 seconds or so of Malice Mizer's Bel Air? I was playing that pretty good a few days ago.

Heh, Cool about the Bel Air bit. They won't let me join band again because I can't play. Former musician would be right. I have a good ear for instruments and notes, though. I've played piano when I was 2 or 3, recorder and wooden recorder when I was in 4th grade I think, viola when I was 11, and trombone I learned at 12 ;D Parents sold the piano, i broke my recorder ( ), quit orchestra because...peer pressure? i guess. something to do with people wanting me to join band. and i quit band because of the gay teacher. He really was gay. And perverted. and stupid. *anger* But anyways, I wanted to learn guitar. I started teaching myself then stopped. Now I want to learn piano again. Maybe I have a hard time making up my mind

OOOOOOh, shiny. *doesn't know much about trombones* I know how you feel though. The first time I laid my fingers on my Gibson Les Paul Classic (vintage sunburst ), I nearly had an orgasm... It cost about $3000. I had to live off Romen noodles for a while to save up for it. Oh, I play guitar btw.

I have little patience. Or maybe I've just had bad experiences with certain people.

I went as far as playing drums and trumpet around fluff's age, but as soon as I got to be a sophmore, I found better things to do..
