Maybe, but I don't see it that way. I just think the Big Bang was energy. Not scientific energy but kinda magical energy. Moon and Sun worship is really quite simple and obvious, they aren't counted as gods though. Not in most cultures anyway. The reason I say that we created gods is that without followers and believers gods have no power. I think they started as an idea. But, with enough people believing in that idea, it took shape and created gods. So while I accept the existence of the Christian god as well as all the other gods I don't believe in him. I just can't bring myself to turn a blind eye to whats directly in front of me. Man creates a lot of fantastic things, but the christian go, bible, etc. is one of the most unexplained, incredible findings that ever came into human contact, which is the reason it caries such a large following even to this day.

GAH!!!!!!!!! too many theories.
i dont even understand some of the words but heres what i believe.
the earth has been around for millions of years or what were lead to believe, in that time many things have happened including the death of the dinosaurs and the creation of all things basic.
i believe that after the ice age happened there was a soft radioactive field around the earth, you know how radiation mutates some things into higher beings and too much can kill it off, well i believe there is a soft radioactive field around the earth that has survived in the atmosphere for millions of years, making us grow from the inside, i still dont understand why we have so many organs or the ability to reproduce but thats my theory.
i do believe in a god because it seems strange that all this has just fallen into place for us, the moon that controls the tide (has anyone actually proven that) the sun far away enough to give us heat without destroying us, the nine planets, a few made up of a compilation of gases and electrical storms (how is it round then) and even stars in the universe, theres so many.
you know, if the earth has been around for so many millions of years then why hasnt anything bad happened to it, like lets say if it were to blow up, would all life in the universe just cease to exist??

^Now that just reads: Bullsh*t. No, actually Gokumario pulled out some interesting ideas. Not that any of them are true (The moon and tide thing being the only scientific based conclusion)...But, the radiation idea would be cool for a science fiction movie... *Ahem* A science fiction movie not directed by Roland Emmerich

His "ideas" makes us sounds like lab expericences, but then again so does god. Again, whatever you hear about God, Hieislove, take it with a grain of salt. Most of it are theories or random stuff taken from the Bible. If there is a God, we have literally no comprehension of him/her/it...

I have a theory, one I have believed for many years but it can never be proved, so bare with me. Creation, I believe creation was the way its described in the bible, but at the same time, evolution also took place. How you ask, well, looking through the bible, it never states that we are the first generation of man/life on the planet, therfore I believe man were created, they lived as we did, became technologically advanced like we are, one day, the world changed, war broke out across the land leaving the world decimated, the remaining human life was mutated, changed into what were refer to as "monkeys" as time progressed, man evolutionized back to humanoid form and history is now repeating itself. I believe some un-mutated life survived in previous generation and have popped up in various places, thus giving us the impression of aliens. Of course some will think its ludicrous but many things I have seen and read support this theory also. I read in a timelife many years ago about people finding a mechanical device fossilized in rock, it was dated back long before the oldest human remains were ever found and the device even had what appeared to be the exact shape of a sparkplug. I found it interesting. I also saw last year on the discovery channel a code (kinda like the Da Vinchi code) that can decipher hidden codes or translations in numerous unexplained writings/structures, etc. When placed on the bible, it explained word for word with absolute perfect spelling, everything thats happened including bin laden, world war two, Nostridamous, chinoble, assasination of Kennedy, Martin luther king, Malcom X, Abe Lincoln, etc. If I ever see that documentary on again, I will post a time so you can watch it. I only caught the tail end of it, but it blew my mind.
