no he wasn't, because his face is different. there was an event in ny where he took off his mast and signed his pictures like 6 years ago, if not even further back.

Yeah, I know he has had the Undertaker fill in for him I think on the rare occasion. But he has always sounded the same.

To me, the WWE is over. I've been a great fan, and I've been watching wrestling since 1986 (i was 4 years old). The time I most enjoyed was before the Attitude era, with Micheals, Razor Ramon, Bret Hart etc - along with the WCW. The attitude era was nice as well, with the Stone Cold push and the introduction of new characters who would eventually be the veterans of today. However, nowadays I don't watch wrestling at all It's not that it's bad, but something seems to be lacking. Maybe I'm somehow refusing to accept the newer guys, but I've lost my passion for wrestling

You know I completely agree. You want to know what I think it is? Competition. The WWE has always had some form of competition when it was really good for the past decade. But since WCW has gone under and ECW, the WWE hasn't had to compete with other companies to come up with fresh ideas and ways of doing things.
Another aspect is the lack of superstars helping the new guys climb the ladder. In just the past few years some of the WWE's major superstars have had to quit or retire. The Rock, Stone Cold, Goldberg, Lesnar, Hogan, etc. have all left leaving the WWE with a hole they are trying to fill with guys like Orton, Cena, Heidenreich, etc And although these guys are great, they don't have that larger than life personality that some of the major established superstars had. So I think the familiarity of our favorite superstars is there but it isn't complete. When you hear Cena's music it's cool, but it isn't like when you hear The Rock's music.
As these new guys become more established I think wrestling will get better. But in order to be like it used to, I think it somehow needs to attract the audience so that the show seems to be as big from the beginning of the show to the end. Have you ever felt yourself watching the show, and about halfway through the first half and half way through the second half you have a sudden urge to change the channel? That is just what the WWE needs to get rid of. When they have stupid skits of Tough Enough on and people are booing, the people aren't booing an exact person, they are booing the stupidity of having wrestling interupted and ruining the flow of the show. I like Tough Enough as actually its own show. I don't know why it didn't get enough ratings, I really liked it.
The WWE has always had peaks and trenches. The Hogan era was a peak, but then had a trench during the early and mid nineties. Then peaked again, and now is back in somewhat of a trench. But overall, the WWE hopefully finds a way to come back like it always does.

(for you non-believers)
;D What did I tell you?! Look how popular Batista is becoming! It's possible this guy could be as popular as maybe even Stone Cold, if given the right storylines.
Forget Cena and especially Orton, cos Batista is owning both there candyazzes right now as the future of the WWE, IMO.

ok you guys are forgetting 1 thing. cena and batista are on diffrent shows. so they both can get a push for the tittle. it looks like we'll see cena VS big show or JBL at WM21 for SD. and batista VS HHH for Raw. so you can have both of a good thing. if you want the future look at these two rite here btista and cena for the heavy wheight division.
