Ok, random college football statements/thoughts/whatever you want to call them: Utah probably could have played better than the Sooners vs. USC USC probably wont win a 3rd championship Auburn is still #1 in my mind The SEC will be again a conference to watch...Urban Meyers is coming in as a head coach at Florida, while Georgia, Auburn, Arkansas, and maybe a few others are losing their starting QBs. Georgia will remain a constant threat however, as will Tennessee. The Pac-10 HOPEFULLY will soon be made to have a conference championship game so that no one can complain if a team from there goes near undefeated again, ala USC. There probably wont be another undefeated GOOD team next year. Adrian Peterson and OU shouldnt be allowed in bowl games for a year or so after these last 2 performances, and in lieu of a bowl game should play Hawaii. Everyone will underestimate teams with losing records more than last year, and there will be some HUGE upsets i believe. Texas will once again prove to be over-ranked because of the amount of AP writers there. Speaking of the AP, they will lose a lot of respect for waiting till the END of the 2004 season to send a cease and desist letter to the BCS, even though theyve known about theyre inclusion since the beginning. Speaking of the BCS, they will try to fix the 04-05 problem(s) and end up screwing up 05-06. Speaking of 05-06, can anyone say Navy for BCS champion with a straight face? I didnt think so.. My pick for national champion next year? I dunno..i really think it will be a SEC team, but I just dont know..I have no clue about the recruiting, so eh..
and that covers about a lot of non-posts..

i'm in an abusive relationship when it comes to college football, my team is the West Virginia Mountaineers, every year i think this is the year that they finally go to a BCS game and every year they break my heart. this past season they had the team to do it but they never played an A game all year they never improved over the course of the season.

Strong Bad you once said SEC is probaly the toughest Conference well its probaly the Big Ten that is Best its just they Beat the Sh*t out of eachother every year That is because the SEC is probably the toughest conference. I still stand by my statement on that. Even the weak teams in the conference will show up and give you as much as you want. Teams like Vanderbilt, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Kentucky...none of them are that great. Vandy is more of a basketball or learning school, as is Kentucky, and Arkansas and Ole Miss have been rebuilding since the loss of some key player(s). But any given day, they are liable to win if not taken seriously. The SEC is smash mouth, line up and hit hard football. Yes, there are some pass first teams, but thats with all conferences. You say the Big Ten is probably the best and beats each other every year, I can tell you the SEC does the exact same thing. But hey, thats what makes college football great...that and the 4 years and your gone thing... USC, while they probably were the best, didnt play Auburn, who went undefeated through the SEC, which takes a great deal of effort. That being said, im sure Auburn would not have lost by 39 in the championship game...that was horrible...

Before ANYONE says anything, im going to say this in my defense: It's spring break, i had nothing better to do, so here it is: Big TenIllinois: 3-8 Indiana: 3-8 Iowa: 10-2 Michigan State: 5-7 Michigan: 9-3 Minnesota: 7-5 Northwestern: 6-6 Ohio State: 8-4 Penn State: 4-7 Purdue: 7-5 Wisconsin: 9-3 Overall: 67-58 Winning Pecentage: .536 (53.6%)SECFlorida: 7-5 Georgia: 10-2 Kentucky: 2-9 South Carolina: 6-5 Tennessee: 10-3 Vanderbilt: 2-9 Alabama: 6-6 Arkansas: 5-6 Auburn: 13-0 LSU: 9-3 Mississippi State: 3-8 Mississippi: 4-7 Overall: 77-63 Winning Percentage: .55 (55%)Head to Head VictoriesSEC: 2 Big Ten: 2 Strangely enough, the 2 teams to win head-to-head for the SEC were in the East, and the 2 teams to lose were in the West. Anyways, the results came out a lot closer than I thought them to be. And of course, I'm human, and may have made a mistake. www.sportsline.com/collegefootball/teams is where I got the Win-Loss records from. But I digress. Two basically evenly matched conferences, so either of them could really claim to be the best. And now, back to being bored.

I wish. But Auburn wont be there. Lost their QB, RB, and FB...IE their whole backfield. Sad really. Oh well.
IT NEEDS TO BE FOOTBALL SEASON AGAIN.
It feels weird wearin around my Big Ben jersey during basketball and baseball season..like its out of place...same for the matt jones one...oh well...COME ON SEPTEMBER!! HURRY THE HELL UP!!
Anyways, my picks for top 5 again this year, in no particular order: USC A florida team (Miami/Florida/Florida St.) Texas Georgia Iowa
I'm not so sure about texas being in the top 5, but theyre ALWAYS in the top 10, so eh. Again, thats in no particular order.
