Lol love this section... ;D
okay, wich player do ya think made the biggest screw up, EVER? or just a big screw up?
When Real Madrid bought Beckham, i just thought, Omg man, its not only good player they need but friendship. You see, a good football team isen't just pro players, but a good friendship. Real Madrid just don't know that, they could be history if they knew that...

I agree. A team must be conformed by players that can understand each other on the field, moslty midfielders. I wouldn't call that friendship, coz the midfielders in Real Madrid seem to get along pretty well with each other. I just think that having a midfield full of super stars makes each player want to show of more that the others. By the way, I think this thread should have a different name. Since it's not about soccer in general, it's about soccer screw-ups. Edit: I just changed the name of the thread to make it more specific.

thats cool, but i still think Real Madrid sux, all of them, or... i like Roberto Carlos a little, but not very much... but still i think that they dosen't have friendship up in the midfield, they arent showing off to each other because theire trainer would have told them long ago that they should stop then... or else they dont have a good trainer. and the attackers are all waiting on the ball and not figthing for it, and deefenders sold theire best deefender, do not remember his name but still.. I think that you all should know that you are some f**king football freaks... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D and i can learn alot of you all. A big TY to ya all...

I think the defender you mean is Fernando Hierro...well, he used to be good, but he had been playing kinda dumb lately. I think he ain't even playing now...he had been sold to a team from somewhere in the Middle East... Anyways, I agree that Ronaldo doesn't have the spark he had before. He's still really talented, but there's something with his physical condition that is keeping him from showing off that talent. What I mean about them wanting to show off is that the players care more about their egos than about the team.

hm...if they care more about their egos, they would play a LOT better...they don't have any egos, they receive millions of dollars a year, i mean why should they be worried about something?

Oh yeah...you definetely have a point there... They just suck coz they don't care...they prefer to think about how to spend their money during a game.

That gives me a horrid combination of feelings and thoughts. But mostly, I feel angry...it's amazing how people spend money on that when there's people that just want one thing...one simple piece of bread could make the day for millions of people...but doing what David Beckham did... that is stoooped!!!!!

i think that you should stick with tha thread, i diden't put the thread on Beckham, i wanted to know wot you think the biggest screw up was..
But still, real madrid dosen't has the.. what should i call it.. hmm... like the fun in theire spirit, they need something, like they should pass it more around, and stuff like that, i think you are right rjxsapri, cause they more drible then they pass it. But they aren't getting any eggo, because i think that more and more Real madrid fans give up.. i gave up a long time ago, and began with Juventus, and im proud.. ;D

They dribble too much like they want to do everything by themselves. I feel like Ronaldo wants to prove he's better than Raul and Figo wants to prove he's better than Beckam and Zidane. Anyways, to get away from Real Madrid, one big screw-up for me was the last World Cup...I mean, how did South Korea reach the semi-finals? They're by no means better than my team and they kicked Spain out. That game agains Spain, I think would have been won by Spain if it hadn't been for the referees.

what you just said, rj, proves that the big teams don't have any AMBITION!!! i mean not only south korea, but did you forget about GREECE? they won the euro 2004!!! and the greeks don't have any sort of big names in their teams, they don't even have one player in the team of the year on the uefa site!!! but they were ambitious and played as a whole thus forming an unbeatable team in 2004. and in front of such a team, no other team with zidane, ronaldo, beckam, or other super star DOESN'T STAND A CHANCE!!!

Yeah, I think what Greece did was impressive. They deserved to win. But what I'm saying is that South Korea didn't show an impressive football on that World Cup. Spain should have defeated them but the referees didn't validate like two of their goals, that for me, were legitimate.
And Germany too, they played awfully on that World Cup but still reached the final. They didn't reach it because of the referees though, they just were extremely lucky and played really defensively...in other words, they didn't care about the espectacle, they just went for the result.

well, there is always a significant advantage from the referees towards the home team...

Well, actually, that whole World Cup sucked in my opinion. It didn't show as much spectacle as expected from the most important sports event in the world....
