Well lets put it this way. There is a member who has been causing trouble and such as of late. As admins and gmods, we have a responsibility to discuss the matter of what to do with this member. But without a private area for us to discuss the member, how would an organized manner for discussing the member come about? Plus, it is the admin board for a reason. It is for the staff to talk about policies of the board and such that some of us may not want the rest of the board to know just yet. We might want advice from the staff only. I think modifying the recycle board is fine, but the admin board should be left alone.
I agree with that...the recycle bin is one thing because it's about things that normal members have said that we didn't get to see. But the admin board is exclusive stuff that the staff members have posted. If I'm not a staff member I don't see any reason for me to want to know what's happening there, and even less would like to see a discussion about taking actions against me or something like that and act on the other boards pretending I didn't see it...

I know some of you don't like the change about the staff members, but that was a direct order from Kenny.
But I think only good can come out of this... The fewer people in power, the better, imo...especially since someone on the staff thinks they are funny by banning members without letting us know (its happened to Hieislove about 4-5 times now, and I have to unban her every time...every week, seems like), and by taking away people's powers. It's happened to Me, Fluffy, and GT back when he was on the forum.
the reason the admin board would be open to everyone is so there wouldn't be any descrimination. and as far as important matters go, there would only be 3 or 4 people in power (aside from board mods) to discuss it.
What I mean is that I wouldn't like to go there and find a thread discussing about my future in the forum and pretend I didn't see it when I post on the other boards... BTW, I'm using me as an example...
Neo's made it clear to me that he desire's my help in trying to renew the forum here. so i'll take up position as a g-mod. i still say there're a bit to many in power, but i can't have everything my way and i ain't gonna b!tch about it. so i'll do what i can in keep the place in order, but i ain't gonna let myself get swallowed up in the drama like before. it's not gonna happen. so don't expect me to take pity on anyone who's gotta complaint every 9 seconds.
Well, i dont usually visit this section of the forum very much, but it was brought to my attention that things would be changing. Some things seem ok but others im not very happy with. I've been on this forum along time, through good and bad, so i think i can tell a good decision from bad. My main concern is about the ADMIN section. The whole point of that section is for staff members to discuss topics in private. The main word being PRIVATE. If you make that section public then all hell will break loose, trust me. The next thing that bothers me is the rules. I dont agree with supid rules such as double posting gives a warning. How stupid is that. If someone double posts deliberatly then yes, that deserves taking care off, but by becoming more strict it takes away the calm atmosphere we once had. Now concerning staff positions, i dont agree with what your doing at all. The staff positions do need cutting down but getting rid of people without proper indication is just plain wrong. I understand you must be excited that you are in control, but a good leader listens to be peoples opinons before acting. Also, staff positions should only be given to trusted active members of the forum.
