Yeah, seriously. They wouldn't show a trailer unless this movie was in post-production, or at least near the end of filming. As far as I know, this movie isn't even in pre-production yet. Most rumors say pre-production starts sometime in the next few months, once Ramsey is finished the script...

I do find the single year a possible problem. Renewing it for only 1 year could mean that if they can't get production off the ground in that time, they will drop it. This could be good or bad depending on what happens when on the market.

^That's exactly what I meant....but it would mean that we would know if we'll get the movie or not within one year...unless after a year they decide to give it another chance and renew again....

d*mn...there's so many high expectations for this movie but personnally I'll go see this movie with low expectations so I won't be disapointed. As a Dragonball fan I wanted to do this movie since I'm a kid...next year I'll probably start my carreer as movie director so I would be very disapointed if the movie sucks knowing that I could've done it right, for myself, fans and for people willing to enjoy a good action movie....but anyways let's just see what happens next.

well, regardless if this will be the final year in the contract, we'll hopefully know what direction they'll be going in. if they decide to drop it, well, at least we won't have to get our hopes up anymore

Yeah, well, the thing is that I'm really optimist that they'll decide to make it. All I'm hoping is to hear the official confirmation within one year...

I hope that this does mean something good. And if they showed a trailor for the movie during Episode 3, I would be really pissed (about Fox not giving anyone any information about this before time)...

I'm only a pessimist when it comes to my personal life...or my national soccer team... And really, I don't think Episode III will make any difference to what we know of the movie. I hasn't started yet, based on what I think, they haven't even decided for sure if they'll make it. But it should be withing this year that they make their final decission, or so I hope...

No...Fox got the license for this site on 2002 when they bought the rights...the expiration date was until March 25, 2005; meaning this is the first time Fox renews the license for that site. Oh! It seems I've got a bad memory! But why the impression of a previous renew is so clear? Forget it~ Hope the official news will come out within 2006, otherwise they'll have to renew again.
