Possibly one of the greatest authors of our time. He mixes fantasy with comedy and philosophy. Who hasn't read them?!

He is an English author. He is most famous for his excellent Discworld series. I can't remember off the top of my head but there are quite a few Discworld books now. They are funny and satirical as well as deep and serious. Check my sig for a Pratchett quote.

I haven't heard of this guy either. Though, I did manage to get an e-book version of, Discworld 1 - "The Colour of Magic," which is rather entertaining so far. I can't give a summary though, seeing as how I haven't finished reading it. And, on e-books, I don't know much about em, I found it through some link link link thingy, you know, typical internet way. I usually buy all my books because most writers are quite poor and such, with little fame from the general public. So I plan on buying some Discworld books this weekend.

I haven't read Colour Of Magic in time... But Hogswatch...
It is coming up for Hogswatch. And the Hogfather is missing. Death has taken his place and Susan, Death's grand-daughter is trying to find the Hogfather. With the help of Billius, the O-God of Hangovers, she must journey to a most peculiar palace and disrupt a most macabre ritual. And can she stop the best assassin ever?
