Yeah, i know that. What im saying is that there is a rumor that the Revolution will launch with a Mario, Zelda and SuperSmash game. Now Revolution will launch some time next year. We are only just getting a new Zelda and Mario so i dont see those rumors being true. Nintendo like to spend time on their games so like i said, i doubt we will see another Mario and Zelda game for another year or so at the best. Well Im sure they will have some platfotmer upon the realse for the Revolution Maybe this time it will be another Metriod or Maybe they are working on a SSB3 that would be cool(if they got rid of the pokemon, and game and watch)

What? I like the additions of all the characters, including Pokemon. I don't like Pokemon but the characters are fine. Anyway, if any of the rumors are true, I would imagine SSB 3 is the most likely. For the Revolution we could see Mario 128 and Zelda re-released on that system. Doubtful, but it could happen. Like always we will probably see a racing game of some sort and I wouldn't count out a possible Turok comeback. Who knows though?

I'm surprised I just noticed this topic, hmm...Well here's my say: Mario 128 was initially a tech demo displayed at Spaceworld 2000 designed to display the processing power of the Gamecube. However, the demo was never confirmed by Nintendo to actually be the next Mario game. It was somewhat taken out of context and led to some dissapointment when Super Mario Sunshine was announced as the true Mario title for Cube- Mario 128 Super Mario SunshineThe difference between the two games are easily noticeable. Where as Mario 128 was supposed to be a new, fresh and exciting title to play in the end we were given Sunshine which was indeed a very fun and solid platformer, looked weak compared to the promises that Mario 128 was to bring. The new Mario game in development is surely the long promised Mario 128, a direct sequel to Mario 64. The game according to series creator Miyamoto and Nintendo spokesman Reginal Fils Aime have confirmed the game for a Gamecube release, not Revolution. As for the Revolution line-up, rumors with very solid backings have showed that Nintendo internally has begun a major boost in it's internal development headquarters as well as an increase in lending out it's properties to other companies such as Namco, Sega, THQ, EA and possibly more to come. In simpler terms this means that there are alot of developers over in Kyoto (location of Nintendo's HQ) working on various projects, many intended for Gamecube, DS, and Revolution as well as collaborations with many outside parties. With some strong effort a powerful Revolution lineup may not be all that impossible. *Note: Mario Sunshine wasn't the only major franchise on the Cube to see a complete differentiation from it's 2000 Spaceworld demo, allow me to refresh your memories: BeforeAfter

I really want this game to come out soon...the only Marion platformer we've had for the GC had a lot of stuff that wasn't common of a Mario game...it was good, but I want to see get through the Castle once again, it never gets old...

Thanks Boss, I remember seeing that stuff just before the cube came out. I really liked the look of Zelda; I don't know why they changed it.

Thanks Boss, I remember seeing that stuff just before the cube came out. I really liked the look of Zelda; I don't know why they changed it. They changed it because they wanted to make link a kid and the Cel Shaded look felt better to portray him as a kid. This new Zelda with the awsome graphics wasnt really planned but it brings out his adult features better.

I don't care what they wanted to do with the perspective. The game's look was totally unexpected and most people didn't want anything to do with it because of that reason alone, which was really stupid. But Nintendo should have known how dumb some people can be. I just think it was a bad idea.

Without that game we may not have had games like Viewtiful Joe etc... It also makes me wonder about this new Zelda. It wasnt really planned so it makes me think about its quality. Although it is Nintendo so i expect only the best. ;D

That's true. But still, it probably hurt Zelda. BUT at the same time helped other games. So I guess there is a trade off.

Nintendo may not be pushing out the popularity on the same levels as say...PS2 and Xbox. But believe me, they are still around, and getting better in my opinion. Nintendo really stumbled with public opinion during this Gamecube era, which is very unfortunate to me. as the Gamecube is hands down my favortie console this generation. But I've got my hopes on a serious Nintendo comeback with the Revolution.
