You couldnt be more wrong... I live in the UK where football (soccer) is the #1 sport, infact its the officially the most followed sport in the world. Anyway, im a true football fan, as true as they get. I've followed football all my life and have been brought up to be a Man Utd fan so dont say im not into "soccer". The reason i dont anticipate this game that much is because EA are the worst developer in the world. I have played very few games from EA that are actually decent. I dont like FIFA games becasue they dont create the beautiful game well enough. Im more into the daddy of football games Pro Evolution Soccer or Winning Eleven for you guys. You haven't played the last FIFA, have you? Anyways, this is obviously going to be different from a regular FIFA game...tactics and such won't matter, it will be more of agility with the controller to pull off the some cool moves. Even if you don't like other FIFA games, this should be a lot different.

It may look like "pure" football but behind all the official look its just an average attempt that given a yearly run-out with little change. If your a true football fan you'd check out Pro Evo, or if you more into the tricks and skills of football then Fifa Street should be your thing.

I am in to everthing about soccer. fifa street is just going to be a game that will be like hey man look at that sweet trick i bet i can do it. and it is just fun to play as not real soccer. i like fifa and how the real soccer is on the big field. but fifa street is like nba street. It is like yuo put your self in there to play for fun with your friends. And i will see if i can get Pro Evo to rent or buy. I really never played it. But normal fifa is much better than other ones and every year something gets better.

And my point is that it doesn't make sense to me to rate FIFA street so low because of the other FIFA games, coz it's a totally different thing.

Pure pick up and play atmosphere with everything official to try and recreate the experience. My rating of Fifa Street isnt based on the FIFA franchaise but on the previews i've read. The thing i can see being the most annoying is people fighting over which player to have in their team. Basing on skill everyone will go for Ronaldinho...

Looks like EA have produced average quality again...
In my latest mag FIFA STREET was given a rating of 5/10.
"Doesn't feel like football in any guise. Hideous 'ghetto' chat on the commentary and quite a constrictive control mechanism will just add to the disappointment in this gimmicky title."

FIFA 2005 should be a worthy replacement, but try to check out the new version of Winning Eleven.] Check out the link for a review.www.gamespot.com/ps2/sports/worldsoccerwinningeleven8/index.htmlWorld Soccer Winning Eleven 8 International is KCET's best soccer game to date, which basically makes it the best soccer game ever made. - Gamespot

Controls are bad in which game? Yeah, FIFA is online. I used to play on it alot but get feed up. Eventually PRO EVO 4 (Winning Eleven) came out, which is only online on Xbox so i've got my online perfection.

Playing FIFA online is not as fun...most of the times I'm winning, the other guy disconnects (I think) and it counts as my loss... Anyways...Winning Eleven doesn't have bad controls...not at all...and the guys arent big...you could just change the camera angle and that's it...
