Anyone who has played this will agree that it is a beauty and a masterpiece and an absolute delight to play. And I don't know about the rest of Britain, but this game has sold so fast in Basingstoke. GAME sold its 250 odd copies in under 2 hours. Virgin only had 150 copies but they were gone in 30 minutes. I didn't inquire at HMV but there were lots of empty spaces on the shelves were Resi 4 was advertised. This game is amazing...

Totally agree. An amazing game. I was shocked when i first played it as i didnt know GC was capable of such graphics. A true work of art. The new aiming system adds a more action appeal to the genre and adds more tension while frantically trying to fight off the new breed of monsters. I think this game has revived a series that was almost dead. In my view this is the best game on GC and worthy of anyones collection. My only negative points on the game are that the control system still feels dated, and that it took so long to make it to the UK. Not that im bothered about the later since i imported a copy months ago, buts its a shame GC owners in the UK have had to wait so long. As for sales, i dont have an exact number, but i have a chart position. It made it to a respectable #5 in the Official ELSPA Entertainment Top 20 Software Chart.

I never had played RE4 yet since I don't have a GCN anymore. The reviews are great for this game, and the scores as well. Too bad I only I have an Xbox and PS2 right now. I guess I'm just going to wait 'till the RE4 port comes out for the PS2. I can see the PS2's version will be downgraded (longer loading times, watered-down graphics etc.) Oh man, it's going to suck but it's all good.

Yes indeed the game is one truly beautiful, I always thought all Resident Evil games had some good in it. The whole story line itself is awesome, and not to mention its great characters, and like Shadow said the graphics weren’t too bad, best in the line of RE games I think. It didn’t do well in Japan though, sadly. I thought it was a great game; don’t know why the other Japanese didn’t like it much. Check the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 Tops Japanese Charts too see the comparison, but Resident Evil 4 got 10 on the top chart in Japan. Which, I myself thought it should be higher at least 5th. I think this is the only good game cube game out there. Sorry, not much of a GC fan…

What the heck kind of games do you like then? Please I would like to know as to why you hate the GC so much. But as far as only making 10th, they obviously don't know a good game. ;D

Oh I like all games , just not childern games too much, or sports games. RPGS are mostly my love. Read my post again I do like this game I find GC to be aimed for childern. Most of the games are very immature, not including this one. The system itself looks ugly and I dislike the feeling of the controlers.
