How did all of you come to know Dragonball Z?

I was just wandering how everyone came to know the Dragonball Z anime.

As for me, my brother introduced me; I used to visit him at my dad's usually just to play Nintendo 64 games together, Golden Eye, MK4, and so forth. One day I came by early and he was watching an annoying little cartoon. I took note but I didn't watch it.
Several more similar days later, I got tired of waiting so I sat with him and we watched the show. It was DBZ of course, the first episode I saw was when everyone first meets Future Trunks. From that point on I was hooked.

i was at my grandparents and nothing was on so i watched dbz and from then on i loved it

well it all started on a day like any other day ;D ;D ;D

nah not really, well for me i was just flicking through channels and i came across cartoon network and the first image i ever saw of dragon ball z was gohan flying through the ocean of namek i think, after that i flicked the channel again and i think i flicked it back and i watched a few episodes right up till vegeta sees freiza again standing infront of the dead dragon balls and that was about the first episode i saw.

this was about 4 years ago, i had no idea who goku was when they went back to the first saga but it was interesting so i watched it and became hooked, i dont really know how i did but i did and i'm proud

well the first time i saw dbz i didn't like it. it was only a year later when i was watching cartoon network a advert came up with ssj goku fighting frieza that i thought i had to watch that, and i did and i loved it. that was about 4 years ago to.

I remember quite a few years ago, DBZ was in sydication on a regular non-cable station early in the morning. I was up all night just got home, couldnt sleep so I mindlessly watched TV while I ate hoping I would tire quickly so I could sleep. I saw some ridiculous Japanese cartoon, I could tell it was foreign just how the characters where drawn.
I kept flipping the channels, nothing was on. So I VERY reluctantly flipped back to this cartoon, just to make fun of it an get some kind of cheap laugh out of it. Cause there was nothing better to watch.
It was the episode where Bulma, Krillin an Gohan where on the Fake namek. Sure enough, it was pretty goofy lookin, as I had suspected. I remember seening Krillin get a seriously pissed off look on his face, which gave me pause. An then used a Kamehama wave which totally reminded me Street Fighter 2. So I became further intrigued.
The next week it was the same scenerio, only this time it was the one where Krilllin an Gohan see Vegita land on Namek an get really worried, ect. Like oh no he is gonna kick our azz! lol
Then I see Vegita going around kill people all over I was hooked after the Cui fight. I kept thinking, what exactly did he mean by "Send you to another dimension?" he didnt just kill him did he? LOL. I was like wow if they did that what else are they gonna do? I had to find out. To see something like that in regular sydincation, early in the morning on a Sunday no less. Was kinda nuts.

same for me i didnt like it when i first saw it (not read it) on cartoon network but then i saw the uncut version and liked it better

I saw it on cartoon network and I played the video games based on dbz!!
