When i first saw this show i thought it was stupid. I saw the part were Goku and raditz died. Then I later watch it for a week and I thought this show sucked because I thought Goku was never going to get out of snakeway. So I never watched it until the frezia saga where Goku went super saiyan. I then watched it all the time and that's how i am a big fan.

It was like six or seven years ago and my brother started watching it, and at first i thought it was stupid but once it got to the frieza saga i started watching it and once Goku transformed into a Super Saiyan i was completely hooked........i even started taping every episode from then on. So thats how i came to know DBZ.

Akira Toriyama was a great person. He brought us an anime series that totally ROCKED. I remember the first time I ever saw Dragonball Z. I was watching Rugrats on Nickelodeon (Hey, I was quite young so don't make fun of me... ) and when it ended I changed the channel to Cartoon Network to see if Dexter's Laboratory was on. Instead I saw some spikey-haired dude in and orange suit (Goku) shooting energy waves at another spikey-haired dude in a blue suit with battle armor (Vegeta). It began to interest be so I started watching it everyday and eventaully got into Art. I tried to draw a picture of SSJ Goku with his blue shirt on but it looked like crap. A few weeks later, I got my very first Dragonball Z action figures. They were SSJ Goku (With detachable clothing) and Frieza (Final form with detachable tail) A few weeks later the d*mn dog chewed them into nothing more than a wad of plastic and left me crying solo. I saw all kinds of action figures later on at wal-mart and places like that (Gotenks, Gogeta, SSJ3 Goku, etc.) but I had no idea who they were so I just ignored them and got normal people like Goku in normal form and Vegeta in normal form. Few weeks later the d*mn dog chewed them into nothing more than a wad of plastic as well. For about five years I continued drawing pictures and collecting toys and watching the series more so I could get to know the characters better. I alos remember my very first Dragonball Z video game to play. It was a blue and orange handheld game and it was very poorly made. The objective was to fight off the Ginyu force and get to the top, when you get to the top Goku automatically turns Super Saiyan and you had to dodge Frieza's moves and defeat him. Then, afterwards you'd go on to the next level. Each level was the same and a bit harder though. Then, my first GBA game, Taiketsu, which I got on my 13th birthday. It was hated by alot of people but it being my very first GBA DBZ Game I fell in love with it. I still have it now and play it from time to time just to bring back good memories... I continued watching the series and re-watching it and buying videos and playing the Budokai games and...well, now here I am.

I didn't know that the WB played DBZ on Saturday mornings... I first watched it on the UPN on weekday mornings, and than they traded it up for Pokemon and Sailormoon. So, I started watching it on Toonami... You know, DBZ was probably the longest running show on Toonami...
