Me and my Bro Matt are having a debate about who was the most kicka** baddie in GT. I say it's Super 17 while he says Omega Shenron. Am I right or is it Matt? Or are we both wrong. Please respond: There is a whole $10 on the line! Lol Joking. but seriously tell me.

If I had to pick one, it would be Super Android 17, but I'd rather not vote at all. The villans were the worst element of all in GT.

Really? How so? I mean you were practically the only person who thought Gogeta was crap so your opinion could start a pretty cool debate! Seriously, continue!

Well, for a start, most of them were just rehashes of old villains. Dr. Myuu was a blatant ripoff of Dr. Gero, General Rildo was a poorly diguised alien version of an android, and Super 17 was a feeble stab at recreating an old character, and his origin made no sense. Bebi... well admittedly he had some originality, with the way he posesses people and everything, but if you look closely, you'll se that he was definitely "inspired by" Super Buu. Look at his design, the way he posseses people etc. The clues are all there. Couple that with the fact he has the worst lines ever to pain the ears since Power Rangers, and you have the worst villain of all. Omega Shenron has similar problems, no originality in his moves, and as far as the script is concerned, he is a walking cliche. Also, NONE of the villains have any personality. If you look at the villains in DBZ, they definitely have some personality issues, but the ones in GT they just cause destruction with no real purpose driving them. They're seem to be just automatons, made for the sole purpose of giving Goku and co. a hard time. I could probably write a book on the subject of why the GT villains are so bad, but I can't type that fast, so I'll just shut up now.

ok heres the thing, he's completely right.
all of the gt villains thats dragon wise would always start off by saying some stupid line like "i assure you that i am the most powerful of all the dragons" and then goku would get beaten to death and suddenly something stupid happens and he regains his strength.
the android whip thing was a clear rippoff of dr gero because he had the ability to suck out energy, plus he had a moustache, what the hell is a giant golden thing with spiky whips doing with a f**king moustache.
all of the gt villains as he said just have practically the sole goal in mind of pissing people off.
android 17 and artificial 17 could never have joined together because one is bionic and the other is android, theres no match.
the general on gills planet was obviously a rippoff of super android 13, they probably just wanted to encorparate the whole absorbing metal parts thing because they thought it was cool or super android 13 couldnt ever exist.
the so called revenge death ball is clearly a remake of freiza's own big bang ball or closer yet his death ball.
the gt villains were also bad because of the simple factoid that they were all weak, none of them stood a chance of beating goku.
i like the whole body stealing thing but please remember a little b rated movie called revenge of the bodysnatchers.
dr myuu is definetely a rippoff of dr gero, theres no doubt.
the whole thing about the gates of hell opening up was just so that they could prove to freiza and cell that goku could kick their asses, i mean seriously why dont those two just fuse, its simple

But Super 17 had a personality, no wait they developed that in Z then turned him into a mindless zombie that spoke in full sentences. I see your point. But Myuu was suposed to be like Gero. That's why they were a team. And did you notice that they had nearly the exact same character design and acted the same? Toei did that on purpose. Omega was really stupid though. Anyway I see where you're going with this.

I Think Omega Shenron Was The Best Villian and i think that GT start off bad with going around the universe but as it went on it got better and in my opinion GT Turned out quite good in the end but the bad side they didn't have goku at his best cuz when he turned into a kid he lost loads of power.... .:Nanu:.

gt producer - (at a convention) "yes you in the back"
fan-"yeah, i was just wondering, how come goku loses some of his powers when he turns into a child like form and then gains them back after he turns super saijan 4"
gt producer-"no idea, next question"
fan 2-"doesnt it seem odd to you that none of the characters have personality anymore"
gt producer-"man i've never seen so many people wanting to ask hard questions, i'll just answer that with these finger puppets" (pulls out some finger puppets shaped like akira toryama and himself talking)
akira puppet - "hoh, mistah white american man, you makea my programme S*** why no character personality"
producer puppet-"well akira, you see most fans dont give a flying f**k about a bad guy and why he's so d*mn evil, they just wanna see action, you've asked too many questions, your fired"
producer-"and that my dear friend is why gt has such bad evil villains"

Some one puts it in terms I can understand! I know Myuu was supposed to be like Gero. THAT'S THE PROBLEM!! OH! You just didn't like the lack of originality. But think about it. DBZ recycles villians too. Like Cell had 50 billion attacks like frieza and could regenerate like Piccolo. That was a Fusion type rip. And Buu! He was a huge Cell rip! After The Frieza the whole DB/Z/GT series got so predictable! So there was no way out of the cycle! Point of rant: GT was bad cause you knew what would happen.

Another problem with the baddies in GT: I had to keep reminding myself that they were supposed to be stronger than the baddies in DBZ. They just didn't feel as strong. There's something about the baddies in Z that just give off a concept of inexpressable power, that the GT villains just didn't have. Which just serves to emphasise the point that GT is nothing more than a soulless by - product of corporate thinking.

Well you gotta remember that Goku's strength in proportion to the villians is way outta wack! Same thing with the rest of the Z fighters: Majuub and Gohan were set up to be the strongest in the series but they weren't any stronger than Goten and Trunks (I'm not dissn Son G and T but they're slackers now!)
