i love the type of football that barca is playing...spectacular and powerful...reminds me of old times... Barca are indeed playing amazing football which is a rare treat in the spanish league. Teams in La Liga usually play at a slow pace and dont really play a very physical game. Barca on the other hand are the opposite, they remind me alot of English teams, very physical, high tempo and fast paced. If they beat Chelsea i can see them in the final against the winners of the Milan Man Utd match.

i think barca will qualify. they have an extraordinary attack: ronaldinho and eto'o are unstopable!!! ;D I wouldnt say unstopable. Ronaldinho really isnt a natural goal scorer. He's more of a provider. Eto on the other hand is a natural born goal scorer. With him on the pitch you are guaranteed goals, but he's not the best stricker. Barca are a team that constantly attack the opponent to force them to defend. Like they say, attack is the best form of defense. The weakness of Barca is they are so commited to bring men forward that they leave huge gaps all over the pitch. Chelsea on the other hand are a more defensive team. No with Drogba suspended, they have the more teachnical Gudjonsen up front and many Kezman. Not exactly an amazing strick force so they will need to rely on midfield player like Lampard to attack and support. Its really a finely balanced game that could go either way. Personally i think Chelsea could hold Barca at bay. I have to say this now, i HATE Deco. He absolute crap and a diver. Whenever he feels he cant do anything with the ball he'll dive. This sort of play isnt tollerated in England so hopefully if he tries it again in this leg, he will get his deserved punishment, a card or a sending off.

nah, there are few people on this forum that like football... milan is a VERY experienced team because it has many players with a respectable age: seedorf, maldini, shevchenko...so they're very pragmatic...and they care about the result only ;D One thing i've noticed about Milan is that they can be easily beaten on the counter attack. They commit far too many people forward by slowly keeping the ball. Let them do this then counter with a pacey forward and you've got them round your little finger. If Man Utd can pick up on this, with their selection of brilliant forwards, Utd could win. As you said, Milan lack the creativity to break down a good defense so if Utd get the 2 goals, they could take a gamble and just defend. One match im looking forward to is Barcelona vs. Chelsea. With Barcelona you have an attacking team that plays amazing football, and with Chelsea you have a very disciplined defense and an experienced attacking range. I actually think Chelsea could just win this leg 1-0. We will see though.

Man Utd lost 1-0 to AC Milan.... Good d*mn goal keepers! We need a new one and fast! I just hate Milan. They play some of the most boring football i've ever seen. They play possesion football and slowy try to break teams down. Boring. When Utd take a full strength squad with a good formation to the San Siro it'll be a different story. Also, well done to Barca for making a fool out of Mouriniho and Chelsea. ;D

im lokking fowrd to Juventus wins ! I'd be shocked if they didnt. Real Madrid are absolute rubbish at the moment. Their team consists of aged super stars past their time. The only way i see Madrid regaining their "fear factor" is by investing in alot of young super stars in the summer.

How can you not add the richest football club in the world on that list! Manchester United! Thats who i would have voted for. They have some of the best players in the world...Van Nistelrooy, Paul Scholes, Rio Ferdinand, Ryan Giggs, Christiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney...the list goes on... I cant wait for the Man Utd v AC Milan Champions League tie. That will be the game to watch along with Chelsea v Barcelona. Those two ties will have the four most in-form teams in Europe battle it out. Cant wait.

Well, Chelsea are through to the Champions League Semi-Finals after beating Bayern Munich 6-5 on aggregate. Hardly a dazling performance from Chelsea, more of a laid-back approach to the match. AC Milan are also through after beating Inter 3-0 on aggregate. We still have Juventus vs. Liverpool and PSV vs. Lyon to go. Personally, i wouldnt mind Liverpool to go through as it would make a great semi-final between Chelsea and Liverpool, but i think Juventus will win. As for Lyon and PSV, i think Lyon should win this game, but it will be close. The winners of that game will play AC Milan. An easy game no matter who they get. What i cant wait for is the final. I really hope its between Chelsea and AC Milan, as they are currently the best teams in the world in my opinion.

man the games were amazing...but i think that penalty was awarded because a chelsea defender hit the ball with his hand...at least that's what i remember...i got sooooo drunk last night that i couldn't even get to the toilet to throw up, so i threw up near the bed...(no comment) lol ;D The penalty was given because a Chelsea defender gave a slight tug on Ballack while he was standing still, so Ballack took advantage of it and put on a fabulous dive...

What can i say, im disapointed that Man Utd aren't in the Champions League anymore, but i've been watching the two remaining English teams and they haven't let me down. First Liverpool put on a quality performance to beat Juventus 2-1, with an amazing Luis Garcia goal being the highlight. Then Chelsea managed to beat Bayern Munich 4-2 without their manager! They should have had the tie finished but in the last min of stopage time, Ballack recieved an oscar for getting a penalty out of nothing by diving. Still, with a 2 goal advantage its hard to see Chelsea loosing out on the semi final place.

it's not that they were a little out of focus, they totally neglected the defence in the beggining of the match...who were they thinking they were playing against? a 3-rd division team? I think they underestimated Chelsea after they luckily beat them in the first leg. The problem with Barca in the 2nd leg was that they opperate as different units. They leave the defense to do their job and then completely focus on attacking. You can really do that against top quality teams and they were punished for that. I also thought Cech played extremely well in goal for Chelsea and has shown he's one of the top keepers in Europe. As for Deco, i just dont like his mentality going into games. He's so smug and thinks he's gods gift... Anyway, he is a good player and deserves praise for that at least.

What did i say...I knew Chelsea would win. Now Deco can shut the hell up saying the English League is average. Chelsea have just demolished the best team in Spain. As for the Man Utd vs. AC Milan game, the best team won. They played the ball as simple as possible, and as soon as Giggs went off, the left wing opened up for Cafu to take advantage of. Im going to predict a Chelsea vs. AC Milan final. Although, i think Liverpool will do well. Teams will underestimate them and they could take advantage of that.
