the psp's design looks a little too... erm, slim? I find that the biggest handhelds have the best control, the psp looks to thin. the Ds seems more appealing to me. also i see the games from being (the first few) £30-£50 they will be VERY exspensive at first mimicing the console price. my advise is to buy it only when the price has gone down, if you buy the console i think that the games money that u wanted to use simply wont be enough for a 2nd hand Psp game. also, the psp's "style" really reeks of awfulness.

I respect your opinion and all, but i have to disagree... Sony are always known for style with their products. The PSP's design is brilliant. If you have actually help one you will notice how excellent it is. Its like holding a widescreen TV close to your face and the graphics just blow you away. Now lets look at DS. The design is very retro and very bulky. Far too big and heavy to carry around in your pocket. Its looks a bit tacky as well. What im saying is it looks cheap. It looks like a toy while the PSP looks like a gadget. Both consoles are aimed at different audiences. DS at children and PSP for "tech heads". Also, the DS will retail at £150 and PSP at £180. I know which one i think is over-priced for whats on offer. DS. PSP games will retail at anything from £25-£35. Same goes for DS.

Oh, come now Shadow. It isn't that bulky looking. They both look rather stylish. Let's be reasonable.

Yep, I agree with shadow. I think handhelds are supposed to be made in a way that you can carry them around the easiest way. The easiest way to carry anything around is you pocket, and from what I've seen of the DS, it doesn't fit on a regular pocket.
