I don't watch too much TV. But one I hoped would win was Martin Scorcese for Best Director. But Eastwood also deserved it though.

I watch the Golden Globe Awards last night, and it wasn't that good. The only good thing about it was seeing Orlando Bloom! ;D

I was glad that Jamie Foxx won a Golden Globe for Ray! He was getting all emotional too, talking about his grandmother... Hilary Swank also killed it, lol.

^Boy did she ever. I was actually happy about Leonardo's win, he was masterful in 'The Aviator'. Plus, I think he's going to be an actor that lives on forever. Even when he's old he'll still be making films. Eastwood did deserve a win yes, but don't worry rjxsapri, Marty'll win the Oscar(they owe him one ). I don't want Million Dollar Baby to win best picture at the oscars. I don't want a depressing film winning. I would be happy with the Aviator or Sideways taking it(Both are dead locks for nominations.) I was hoping for at least one win for Hotel Rawanda(the best film of 2004). I cheered when The life and death of peter sellers won for best tv movie and Geofferey Rush for best actor in a tv miniseries or movie. That was a great film, highly recommended. I also loved Jamie Foxx's speech(I cried) and Robin Williams masterful comedic speech. Both were great. This is a great year to be watching award shows. Consider yourselves lucky .
