K I don't think there is a thread on this, but i'm sorry if there is. I love 80's music! It's so good and happy and boppy! I like Duran Duran, Tears for Fears, The Bangles and Madonna. And a lot of others!

Well, 80s metal...some of it. Van Halen, Motley Crue, Scorpions, Poison...etc...obviously AC/DC too... OH HELL... ZZ Top!!! I also like Duran Duran, Robert Palmer, Journey, Foreigner etc....too much to remember right now...

Yep. It was also the year when they were officially recognised as a band, although they had gigged for a while before that. My dad and his band had the chance to play with The Levellers once but my dad turned them down 'cos my mum was 9 months pregnant with me... idiot! ;D
