There would be an end all right. The end of the world. Everything will explode and hate and kill and destroy each other, and people would find out you're immortal, and nuke you to smithereens just for the fact that you're immortal.

but if you're immortal, the nukes couldn't kill ya. then you'd be in pain, but you couldn't die

i'd really rather not die one day, living forever or forever dead are two completely different things and i dont really wanna experience either.
if i have to die i want to die remembered for something i truly did that was great and in over 100 years people will still think of me, people would want to come to my grave and look down on my glory.
if i were to live forever that would be the worst thing in the world, think about it, you would be lonely, everyone around you dies and the destruction of the earth would be imminent.
basically i would like to live a while longer than the average human, i'd like to think humans could live for over 300 years before they die and dont age until they reach 200, that would be so much better, although with the way the world is working now, that might actually be a possibility.
i dont wanna see my parents or my siblings die, cause that's like saying goodbye for the last time so i'd live a normal life, just a little longer than others

yea. if you were immortal, and you see all you loved ones die, then you'd realize you could never die and would never see them again in the next world. i find that very scary

I would to live a normal life instead of forever. By some points people have already made. Loosing your loved one will make you cold and the thought of knowing you could have grow old together would be frustrating. After you know what will happen in the future or after you have nothing left to do alive? What next? Walk the Earth as an empty shell? There is no need to know what will happen in the future, specially if your loved one is not there to see with you, it's better to live now and live the present fully and making the most of it than wandering how will it all be a hundred years from now. Years will pass, people all around you will die right before your eyes and there is nothing you can do to stop it. You might meet your descendants but they probably won't even believe it's you because your time was suppose to end a long time ago. They will probably label you as crazy. And after so much suffering it will eventually get to you and you will probably go insane so all of that which you wanted to see will be lost. And what would be the point of loosing your loved ones to learn something you might loose as well? Everyone who conciously chooses to let everyone around them die while they go on forever is heartless at least to me... Now 'nough of my babble

U know...after what Eris just said, it made me change my mind...really. I hadn't really thought deeply about this...I was just thinking about how "cool" it would be to see everything... Now I changed my mind, I would have a normal life....besides, one of the things I'm really waiting for is for a time where I can really rest in peace... But really, thinking about how much I hope that I find that special someone, and that I would lose her and live the rest of my days missing her...that would be hell for me.

I would chose to live forever. But a better thing would be to live as long as theres life around you. + i would like to have unlimitet memory and either be able to regenerate or be invulerable. Then i think i would really like to be Immortal.

Hmm, tough descision. Eris makes a very strong point. But, I really wanna see all the things that will happen to us in the future. Although, if there's a heaven. We can see it all anyway! Yeah, I'll go with normal life.

Definetly a normal life, Just think of the world ending, everything would be dark, would be freezing. The earth exploding, the sun would eventually go out everyone dies, and you live through everything, think about it, no end, being here forever and no way to get out. It would be really boring and you would probably get crazy:P
