Ok, something really weird is happening in Mexico. There's a woman, whose name I can't remember, that has been hired by a professional men's football (soccer) team to play for them. Of course, her contract didn't have any importance until FIFA decided if it was right for her to do that. But guess what FIFA said... FIFA said that it was an internal decision of the local Football Federation. So, it really seems like she's going to get in. I have nothing at all with women playing football. But the truth is that in a sport like football, you can't mix men and women. It is ok in sports like tenis, but sports like football, basketball, american football, etc. should be played either by all- men or all- women. I have seen this woman play. She played for Mexico in the last Olympics. And there's no doubt she's good, but to be hones, I don't think she could resist one game playing with men. I say this because I have played mixed with women that are really good and they can't withstand the rudeness that we men play. It's a totally different level. Oh, and not to mention that either she, or the rest of the team, would have to wait to take a shower. Or it would get real dirty on the locker room.

It is ok to for a girl to play with men, yes, but we're talking about a professional team. Can you imagine the pressure on this girl. Besides, like it or not, soccer is a sport of too much contact, mostly when you talk about professional soccer. And what do you think her teammates are gonna think about it?

I think this is great news. Nice to see that women are getting noticed for their talents more. I personally think women are better athletes than men. But that's just me.
As for the pressure thing. Yeah, that's gonna be a little hard to handle. But I'm sure she's tough enough.

yeah. but why do this? There's teams for women, and there's teams for men. If they're gonna let a woman play on a men's team then it is like they let a man play on a women's team. It just doesn't make sense.
And it doesn't matter how tough she is, football soccer has a lot of contact, I'm pretty sure that with the first defender that goes to stop her she will fly across the field and it's gonna be a red card for the defender.
And like it or not, someone is going to touch her chest (you know what I mean), it always happens during corner kicks. Is she going to be ok with that? I don't think so.

Well, this is new. FIFA (Federation Internatinalle de Football Association) just changed their mind and said they wouldn't allow her to play on that team.
I say that's the right thing, but I was sure that even if they said otherwise and had let her play, everyone would have seen it couldn't work out.

i think i once caught the english womans world cup team play football.
they were really slow and didnt kick the ball very high.
to me, woman shouldnt really play a rough mens sport, well football maybe but never in the same team.
i'm not being biased or anything but there are pro's and cons of woman doing any kind of mens sport.
1.wrestling, most woman wrestlers are weak and are just there to take there tops off and usually have jobs as porno stars, not very good role models
2.weightlifting and bodybuilding, have you ever seen those woman, man there hideous
3.fencing, well actually this should be a womans sport anyway
4.martial arts, woman can do martial arts, i've just never met someone who'd want to thats younger than a certain age, most girls nowadays dont like martial arts
5.football, woman always complaign about men playing it so why bother doing it.
6.rugby or american football as you call it, woman in heavy shoulder pads, playing with men twice her size and weight, its not a good environment, besides it can be a serious health risk with all the meat and protein they make you eat
besides woman for countless centuries have been complaining about there place in society and really its becoming annoying, what with all these womans rights marches and stuff, i'm not against womans rights, i'm just sick of the ones who keep complaining
