Chapter 1 of The Fox Curse and Updated Characters

Someone asked me to post it again. And for those of you who had read it , I have change some of the characters , cuz I wanted to -_-

The Fox Curse by Kyodo

~The History~
Hitori is a breed of demon that is part of the first class society. Hitori doesn’t know his father due to the fact his father died for some unknown cause. The tribe of Hitori is not forbidden to talk or even think of his father. Hitori is the prince of is tribe. Many years ago before he was born his tribe did a lot of damage through out the demon and human world. Now in the time of Hitori’s ages many demons seek out to kill any member of Hitori’s tribe. So when Hitori was just born to protect him they ran away and left everything behind even their name. From this day on Hitori doesn’t know the name or origin of his tribe. Hitori doesn’t remember any of his past of his father or his tribe. He is the last of his tribe along with his half sister.

~Character~

Hitori Yoshi
Age: 8 in the beginning and 20 at the middle and end
Background: Unknown demon
Origin: Japanese
Powers: Ability to see pass the darkness. He can control any liquid material around him. He is really smart on fighting.
Part in story: He is the main character and he is the one who stands up to Akito.
Description - A cursed demon, he was only a child human cursed him and somehow killed his mother. Now Hitori turns into a fox with no powers at the time of the curse. He falls in love with Naoko. He has a bad temper and hates when someone called him stupid. He is very powerful but doesn’t know it; his power comes from his father. He can see ghost and the haunted which is more of a curse then a gift…

Akito
Age: Unknown but looks mid 30s
Background: Unknown
Origin: Half Japanese Half Chinese
Powers: He can copy the attack of his enemy but only up to a certain point. He can control the minds of a weak human.
Part in story: His is the villain that everyone is after.
Description- He was the human or so we think that cursed Hitori for some unknown reason. He has this strange grudge against Hitori and he loves Maika. He always has blood on his arms, fresh blood

Miaka Yaino
Age: 16
Background: Half fire and half unknown demon
Origin: Japanese
Powers: She has no powers but she is very smart and quick to think.
Part in story: The reason Hitori decided to stand up to Akito
Description - Hitori’s younger half sister. She was kidnap by Akito and his people. He doesn’t abuse her but threats her like a queen. She doesn’t share the same father as Hitori. She falls in love with Akito...
Yoko Hito
Age: Over 25 and under 35
Background: Half thunder and half animal demon
Origin: Irish
Powers: Able to talk to animals of all kinds. He can control and create thunder and his finger tips.
Part in Story: He was the one who train and raise Hitori to who he is now. He is Hitori’s best friend.
Description -He finds Hitori as a fox and wants to eat him, and then he finds out that he is a demon, so he helps him through life. He can talk to an animal, that’s why he is so valuable to Hitori. He was the one who taught Hitori how to fight.

Naoko Noshi
Age: 18
Background: Full fire demon
Origin: Half American Half Japanese
Powers: She can only make a small fire for cooking but she is a tough girl to over come by mouth.
Part in story: The love of Hitori
Description - Hitori's first love. She sees Yoko and Hitori trying to cook and offers to help them, then ends up staying with them after she hears Hitori's story. She gets sad easy when she sees Hitori mad or sad. She falls in love with Kono though…


Kono Mokubo
Age: 12 in the beginning and 24 in the middle and end
Background: Full earth demon
Origin: Japanese
Powers: Able to control any part of the earth’s ground not including water.
Part in story: The confused one. Not what you think of him
Description- Akito's main hit man, he does all of Akito’s dirty works. But for some reason he always helps Hitori, he hates Akito but only stays for his sister Kira. He is a great fighter but soon will find out he’s not as great as Hitori like he always thought. He is not always what you think of him. He falls in love with Naoko.



Kira
Age: 18
Background: Full earth demon
Origin: Japanese
Powers: Can create small harmless earthquakes when mad.
Part in story: Akito’s maid
Description - Kono's sister which she doesn’t know cuz Akito erased her memory but later she will remember, she is held up by Akito and she hates him. She doesn’t know how to fight or anything, later on she is about to die but Hitori saves her. She falls in love with Hitori but becomes sad since Hitori loves Naoko.

Hideki
Age: Over 100
Background: Full wolf demon
Origin: Japanese
Powers: None at his tree form but when demons he can control animals and make them do his dirty work.
Part in story: The tree Hitori has to be at and the one they go for an answer.
Description- The talking cursed demon tree. He is very smart and loves to call Hitori his child. He uses to use the animals to do all his work and one day someone fought back causing him to lose a lot of power and that was the day he got caught.

Chapter one Book one


“Daddy is that you? Where are you going? Take me and mom with out? Hitori was running in a dark pathway that never end and he was trying to catch up with the man that was always in his dreams. Then His mother came in… “Wake up Hitori...” Hitori shot his eyes open and he was covered in sweat and tears. “Are you o.k Hitori? You should stay home; you don’t have to come with me.” “ No I will come mother , just give me 5 minutes then I will meet you out there ok? “ Yes dear take your time.” His mother walked out the room. And Hitori went into the bathroom to take a shower. “Who is that man always in my dreams, and what does he want?”

Hitori was getting out the shower when he heard the window behind me open. He looked back and it was closed. “I could have sworn that I heard the window open...” Hitori went up to the window and looked out and when he looked around he saw the man in his dreams walking away. “Wait!! Don’t go stay here!” Hitori tried to get out the window but his mother knocked on the door. “Hitori dear are you o.k?” Hitori went to open the door. “Yes I am and I'm ready also to go.” His mother smiled at him and went off to the door. “Then let’s go Hitori, we have a long walk ahead of us.” Hitori grabbed his sword and went to his mother. He grabbed his mother’s hand. His mother looked at him with a funky look. “Now Hitori your eight years old almost going on to nine. Don’t you think its time to let go of my hand and walk for yourself.” Hitori looked at his mother’s pale skinny and weak hands. “No I don’t now let’s walk fasters.
After a 5 minute walk Hitori and his mother had came into the dark forest in Japan. There were demons all around them, they were looking at Hitori and his mother while shaping there swords and knifes. Hitori took a hold of his sword just in cast. His mother grabbed his hand tighter. “And you say I need to let go…pity.” His mother looked at him “Dear your smart mouth has a point there but anyways were almost out just a few more minutes will go and we will be out the forest and into the plain land. Then low class demons came from behind and attack his mother but before the demon could touch her; Hitori pushed her down and took out his sword and slash through the demon.
Hitori went to his mother. “Mom Are you o.k?” His mother got up “Watch out!!” Hitori looked behind him and saw a crew of demons coming for him. “I got this one” He saw through the corner of his eyes the blood of the other demon. Then Hitori raised his arm up and along with it the blood flowed with the motion that his arms went. Hitori waved his arm to the left carry the blood in a quick and deadly motion. That side was dead and there were three dead left. He took out his sword again and stabbed the first one and with the blood he chokes the other demon then he kicked the last demon into the pile pf blood and he made the blood into a knife shape and he raised his hand up and fast with that the knife shape blood went up stabbing millions holes into the laying demon. Then Hitori walked up to his mother. “Now, Hitori where did you learn that.” Hitori laughed “Too much games guess” But Hitori was lying to his mother, he didn’t know where he learned that, its just came to him when he was fighting. It was like someone was telling him how to fight and protect his mother.
Then after a few more minutes he and his mother were out the forest and into the plain land where it is safe to be. “Mom why did those demons attack us?” Hitori looked at his mother. “Well I don’t know, they were bad people and just wanted to hurt us.” But Hitori knew better, by the look of his mothers face he knew she knew why the demons attack them. But Hitori choose to act stupid. “Oh you’re right they were bad people.” His mother stopped by a tree of apples. “Those apples are so nice. “ Do you want me to get them for you mother”. His mother looked at him and patted his head. “No dear I will go and besides I need you to be the lookout. o.k? Hitori looked around. “Fine mother just be careful.” His mother climbs up the tree and then Hitori heard a whisper and when he looked he saw the ghost of the man in his dreams. “It’s you again. What do you want with me?” The man just stood there looking at Hitori. Hitori heard a fainted out whisper behind him but he stood there looking at the man. The man didn’t move or say anything. “Hello? Can you hear me or are you deaf?
Hitori walked up to the man and then he heard his mother fall. When he turned around he saw his mom getting up. “Hitori go behind that wall.” Hitori looked where his mother was pointing at. The wall was tall and thick with dirt and grass. It was very dark there and had little animal life. “But…” “Go run Hitori!” Hitori then ran as fast as he could to where his mother had said to go to. When he arrives he slammed himself to the floor and turned around too look at his mother. When he looked he saw his mother being approach by a human man. Then Hitori heard a noise calling him again. “What is that? Whose there!” Hitori looked behind him where the noise came from and he saw a ghost. But this time it was the man in his dreams, he looked very different from the one in his dreams. First of all the wind behind him was white not black like the other ghost. “What do you want…?” The ghost looked at Hitori. “I’m not what you think I am, first of all I'm not a ghost so stop calling me that please.” Hitori was shocked he thought the man he was seeing was a ghost. “So what are you then?” The man smiled. “I can’t tell you, then it would be too easy in the future” Hitori walked closer to the man. “Not so fast child.” The Hitori heard his mother scream. “No mother!”
Hitori ran where he last saw his mother, when he arrives he screamed himself. His mother was lying on the floor with one inch holes going straight through her body. She was losing so much blood and Hitori can tell she had lost a vast amount of blood already. Hitori ran up to his mother’s side. “Who did this too you!” His mother was losing so much blood, when she talked more blood rushed out her mouth, making it hard to understand her. “Nmani *Cough* Blood…ciuck”. Hitori tried to understand his mother but he couldn’t the blood in her throat was making her words unclear. “Mom don’t talk it will only make it worst.” His mother grabbed his hand and grabbed hard. “I love You Hitori”. Hitori notice those words were clear and easy to understand like he had wish the other words were. “I love you too mom”. Hitori looked at his mother and how much blood she had lost and is still losing. “Your not going to make it aren’t you…” His mother brought his hand up to her mouth and kissed it. “No but that *Cough* doesn’t mean you don’t have to. Go to your half sister Miaka, she’s in the human world. Go and take care of her.” His mother looked into Hitori’s golden eyes and smiles that wonderful smile only a mother could give. Hitori didn’t know he had a sister but he told himself to worry about it later. There was a bigger problem for Hitori, his mother, the only one that took care of him, the only one that loved him and he loved her, is dying a slow and painful deaf. Hitori laid his head on his mother’s shoulder. He felt her squeeze his hand harder then release. He heard his mother’s hand fall to the floor. At that Hitori knew his mother had died. Hitori got up and took off his coat and threw it over his dead mother. Hitori didn’t cry because he felt a presence around him.
Hitori turn his back to his mother to face the man. It was the same man that he had last saw his mother with. The man was human with black hair and blue eyes. “You were by my mother when I last saw her alive.” The human man smile at Hitori but Hitori didn’t smile back instead he glared at the man. “Yes I was there, your point is child?” Hitori took out his sword. “That means you had something to do with her deaf.” Hitori got into a fighting stance and was ready to strike at anytime. “Smart boy we have here, yeah I did, and I was the one who killed her.” Hitori couldn’t believe what he was hearing; how could a human kill his mother. His mother wasn’t much of a fighter in the demon world but in the human world she was consider a great fighter. Hitori looked at the man who killed his mother. Then Hitori charge at the man. But when he got there he was push by a little boy that looked a couple of years older then him. “Hitori your mine!”
