Scientists at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) have identified a new gene that, when aberrant, can cause cancer. They've named the gene POKEMON or POK Erythroid Myeloid Ontogenic factor. Details about the cancer-causing Pokemon gene can be read on the MSKCC website or in the January 20th issue of Nature magazine. -Source: ANN- While I do think that this is tooooo funny I don't think that Nintendo might not be to happy to see one of it's most popular licenses being associated with cancer. Pokemon Cancer ------ Somehow, the lingo "Gotta catch'em all" comes to me mind. "Ohhhhhh nooooooo the POKEMON will catch us alllll run for your life!!!!!!"
