So, anybody else reads these books? I'm only up to the Fourth one because hardcovers are too d*mn expensive, my local library sucks and the Fifth one is'nt very easy to find in paper back (Or has it even been released in paper back yet?. Eh, I'll find out later.). EDIT:Guess not. So I'll write up a little description to see if it catches anyone's interest: Written by Stephen King and grabbing elements from many other novels he's written (characters, locations and other assorted things) the seven book Dark Tower series follows the journey of the last Gunslinger (a combination between a King Arthur like Knight and Clint Eastwood style Cowboy) Roland on his quest to find (you guessed it) The Dark Tower. The Tower is in the center of all the universes and is the source of all existence (I think... ). The things that hold the tower up are deteriorating though meaning that eventually the tower will fall wiping everything out. Along his journey he is joined by others from, and in, alternate worlds who are destined to try and help him reach the tower. There are servants of the evil destroying the tower who are trying to stop him though. Be warned though they can be pretty long.
