Hieslove is being a little harsh on the poor Cube...alot of people who take the Gamecube as kiddy really don't know it's potential and it's a shame. Cube may not have it's overabundance of M rated games but the mature titles are there Eternal Darkness, Metal Gear Solid: TTS, Metroid Prime 1+2, The whole main Resident Evil series including the incredible RE4, Baten Kaitos and upcoming titles such as Killer 7, Fire Emblem, Advance Wars: Under Fire, Starfox 2, Geist and Legend of Zelda. The Gamecube is far from being the weakest out of the 3 in terms of quality games. Oh well...here's to hoping the Revolution does get driven to obscurity by the casual public.
EDIT: Oh and Fox you do know that Nintendo sold RARE to Microsoft right? RARE didn't leave them off their own free will, Nintendo found them becoming somewhat lacking in the software developing department and did away with them.

At first i thought Nintendo did the right thing as RARE werent really making the once crucial contribution they did for N64... Although selling a company of RARE's quality brought in the cash for Nintendo, it also started the decline of support for the GC... And with RARE bringing games like Conker and Perfect Dark Zero out, its really going to show what RARE are capable of...

And with RARE bringing games like Conker and Perfect Dark Zero out, its really going to show what RARE are capable of... Actually those two games are going to show what the old RARE was capable of. Conker Live and Reloaded is nothing more than a graphical update of the N64 classic, while Perfect Dark Zero can be a good game simply by running of an engine that was established by the previous team. Meanwhile what happens when the new RARE team runs out of old RARE ideas and is forced to make their own stuff, oh yeah! Grabbed by the Ghoulies...

Meanwhile what happens when the new RARE team runs out of old RARE ideas and is forced to make their own stuff, oh yeah! Grabbed by the Ghoulies... If you have played Conker you will realise its alot more than a "graphical update". The control system has been brought forward, new elements added into the mix, but basically the single player is an update in similar fashion to Twin Snakes. The multiplayer is a completely new piece of work from RARE. The whole point of the game is the multiplayer LIVE aspect. Its the only game in 2005 that really going to challenge Halo 2 as the best LIVE game. The original Conker in my opinion was missed by alot of gamers due to it being brought out in the last days of the N64. This new outing should put things right and will be a major contestant for GOTY. From what i know RARE has developed a completely new game engine considering Time Splitters uses the old PD engine... I imagine it will be similar to Halo's engine since the Bungie guys are helping out. Rare have yet to delivered this gen. All they have shown is they can get the best graphics out of a system. Next gen im sure Rare will show their worth and how much Nintendo miss them. Either way, i think a RARE game will win GOTY 2005...

See thats what I don't understand, why does RARE need help. The classic team was able to produce and devise a highly capable sytem with their own intellect. However, now that the team has been drained from it's major talent it has to turn to another developer for help? For $500,000 RARE should be doing a lot better than what they have, and a RARE game being GOTY? What do you mean by that? *By the way Shadow, have you heard the news about Tapion yet...

Well it doesn't really matter. I still think it was a mistake to let go of Rare. Almost every Rare released title was ranked as on average as an excellent game, with scores like 5 or 4/5, 90+/100, and 9+/10.
