What? I think they have a good fight size. its better then this One week of episodes : Powering up Second week of episodes. : Talking Third week of episodes : Fighting , Not winning or losing Fourth week of episodes : Fighting, and winning Fifth week of episodes: Fighting and everyone dies. Sixth Week of episodes: Goku coming Seventh week of episodes: Goku powering up Eight week of episodes : Goku talking Ninth week of episodes: Goku fighting Tenth week of episodes: Goku winning Eleventh week of episodes:Goku losing and almost dead Twelve week of episodes: Goku does some super move and win 13th week of episodes: Crying over the lost 14th week of episodes: Finding the dragon balls 15th week of episodes: Everyone is back and bad guy comes again And this goes on FOREVER there is not one saga in which all that happened in that order. besides, what you just said is a constant in all long-running anime. it's the same in YYH becuase first we got the saint beasts, rando, toguro, sensui, the makai tournament. it's an endless thing of bad guys just like in DBZ. same thing with kenshin and naruto. you can't say the same for fullmetal alchemist because it's only like 30 or so episodes long. you're makin dbz sound like it was crap, which it most definitely did not. i can't name one other show, besides jojo's bizarre adventure, that i've seen show so much depth. there are over 500 episodes! do you know how much room there is for character development! over time the hardened hearts of piccolo and vegeta both see what they were doing in the past were wrong. we grow up with goku from the time he lived with his grandpa up until the time he had his own granddaughter. the Dragonball saga is so much richer and deeper than any other anime. toriyama had a way with his works, a way that i think was better than togashi and watsuki. i believe that toriyama created the best manga/anime series ever, and it was DragonBall.

What are you talking about? Yuyu Hakusho never repeats itself like DBZ does, of course your going to have your bad guys come, but you never know whats coming up. Geez DBZ I can pretty much tell the future.

al right then, were you able to predict that frieza would come back to earth and be killed by future trunks? did you perdict that dr gero would unleash his androids on the earth? did you predict that fat buu was actually due to absorbing the dia kaioshin? what i'm trying to get at is that you couldn't predict DragonBall anymore than you could YYH.

Yuyu Hakusho was unpredictable, but yet DBZ I knew what was going to happen.

well the only reason i did was because i read spoilers. i read spoilers on everything so i'm rarely surprised. but we could talk about this all day and you'd still like YYH better and i'd still like DragonBall better

yea, they're good characters, but i liken hiei to be a lot like vegeta. but i think thye both have good characters. like the back story for raizen and bardock i think are both awesome. another character thing i like about DBZ is the alternate timeline with trunks. seeing another side of gohan in the future was really insightful. we got to see how much would be diferent if mirai no trunks never would've went back in time.

he has the same elements as vegeta. cokciness, arrogance, used to be bad and turned good, short, cut-throat, a somewhat twisted sense of honor, and both were without parents for most of their childhood. of course they ahve their differences, but at their core, they share pretty much the same ideals

Hmm... I always thought that Hiei's design looked similar to Vegeta. Yuu-Yuu never had anyone like Piccolo and that was something they were missing. I liked how there were tons of crazy powers but the original Dragonball had everyone witht the power to grow super plants or shape shift too. and Yuu-Yuu was a little too serious for my taste, they wouldn't crack a joke once. Like I'm always Saiyan: Yuu-Yuu Hakusho is one seriously kickass series but it can't compare to DB/Z/GT. It's just way to different. (Contradicts his own Fan Fic)

Remember when Yusuke was figghting Toguro, and Kurama asked Hiei , if they have a chance and Hiei said no. Vegeta always thinks he can win. Arrogance , Hiei is very smart. Hiei still got his bad in him, same for Vegeta, thats the only thing they got. Hiei's childhood is way different.

well we can say this, hiei does tend to underestimate people. he underestinated yusuke the first time he fought him an zeru. he shouldn't have had to use his ultimate attack in the first round, he was desperate.
and majunks, there is PLENTY of comedy in YYH! they crack jokes all the time and it's made me laugh many, many times ;D

Just look at Hiei...and Jin You like it better because you like it better, not because it's better. DBZ and YYH are different types of anime, one is more leaned to drama and the other is more leaned towards comedy...I like DBZ better, to me is the best anime I've ever watched. And maybe you can say you could predict what was going to happen on DBZ, but at least say how...I don't believe you could predict it more than you could predict YYH. Vegeta doesn't always think he can win...he knew he wasn't able to beat Frieza at first, he knew Goku got stronger than him, he knew he couldn't beat Majin Buu... And don't take your opinions as facts, it drives people nuts...

actually, i think YYH and DBZ are similar. if you read the manga, togashi has a really great sense of humor. it might be toned down just a tad in the anime, but ti's defintely still there.
