you guys have been sniffin to much Javex, this movie is one of my favourites. And it was more of a moral value movie than a love story or fight story, it kind of reminded me of george bush. Jeremy, you are THE MAN!!!! of all the people who have posted here, you are the only I've seen that trully captured the idea of this movie. The whole love story thing was just a metaphor, a METAPHOR of the moral values that were held in the movie's message. And I really don't see why some people say it was confusing and didn't get the story well...I for one, loved the way the story was told, pretty sweet and different...kind of added interest. Say what you want, but this movie is a true work of art...and no, this wasn't hyped more than it deserves...it's just an amazing movie...it deserved all the recognition it got...

When I said that it was hyped up, I am refering to the critics saying that it was the greatest "action" movie, of all time. I loved the movie, but it wasn't the greatest action.

LOL- yeah. Just ask me.... I will be known as the Forum Movie Critique... I loved the movie. It was a very nice film- great story (especially in the way it was told from different points of view. I just wasn't thinking of George Dubya. Bush at all while I was watching it, lol.

I think what Jeremy was referring to, was the movie's whole concept of war...that was probably the main theme of the movie. And the "love story" in it was also a representation of that concept.

I noticed a couple of minor details had been changed. Like when Nameless refers to the kings army he says "One hundred thousand soldiers" rather than the subbed version, where he says "several hundred thousand soldiers."

Just saw this movie a few days ago and must say its an all time classic. It not the sort of "modern" day trash you get in the cinema but a true film. A work of art. Like someone said before, its one of those "true movies". A true traditional movie that are hard to come by these days. Manages to mix action with drama and get the highest quality of each.
Easily the best foreign film i've ever seen,

If you understand the meaning of the movie, then you should understand why he didn't fight....things happen for a reason. If he had fought then it would have messed up the message of the movie.

And because it would have altered history. Remember this is based on a true story. You don't need a fight to have a good ending.

I Love you too man! ;D Yeah, the ending was actually my favorite part! I like how Jet took all of the arrows facing them and standing straight up while he was hit. (Thus leaving that person shaped gap in the wall.)
