i bought their album "Smile" simply for the fact that it had the theme song for Full Metal Alchemist. but the entire album is very good. does anyone else have this cd or even heard of this band?

Heh, the legendary band with the singer that Gackt is in love with. Still, I don't really care for their music

Ahh one of these days Fluff, Goshin and I are going to have to convert you over to L'Arc-en-Cielism. L'Arc-en-Ciel has garnered quite a huge amount of success by doing soundtracks and themes for Anime programs. The most popular being Full Metal Alchemist, Rouroni Kenshin, and several others. As a matter of fact...that's actually how I found about them. Also it's interesting you found that album at Suncoast. I didn't think they sold Japanese anything over there, other than animes and pretty much the basics. Looks like I'll be taking a trip down there soon.

they're pretty much j-rock. the j meaning japan. if you've ever seen fullmetal alchemist, they make the theme song. i heard they recently had a show in baltimore last year, but that was their only american show so far
