What's this "san", "sama" "chan", "kun" etc that a character adds when speaking the name of another character? For example, Sasuke-kun, Orochimaru-sama, Naruto-kun, Sakura-chan. Sometimes it seems like they are interchanged, depending on who talks about who. An explanation would be great

Right, In japanese language they have certain ways that they talk to different people. They would talk to their friends a different way that they would talk to their parents or someone of high power eg President.

Kun - This is used when talking about someone you love Sama - This is used when talking to someone of higher power then yourself San - This is used when talking to a friend Chan - Im not sure about this one, but i think it is used when talking to someone of lower power.
There are more but i cant remember them.

Chan is usually said to young girls, or sometimes to older women to rile them up. lol ;D
