Okey...first let me explain one thing. Even though this is related to anime, I didn't want to post it in the Other Anime board because I would like to read comments about this movies from the vision of movie watchers an not just anime fans...so please, don't move it. Besides, even though they are anime, they are MOVIES too. Okey, I made a poll just to know which one's your favorite. If you haven't seen all of them, just say which one's you've seen and say what you think abou them. Besides from the poll, I would like this to be a thread where we can comment on the movies of one of the most gifted Japanese animators of all time. Hayao Miyazaki is considered the "Walt Disney of anime", and for a good reason. His imagination can reach places that not many other adults can. That's maybe why Disney animators and writers have declared that they like to watch Miyazaki's movies when they're in some kind of block. Miyazaki is a god to Disney animators...

Knew I should have snagged this idea when I had the chance ;D Heh J/K, Princess Mononoke is one of my all time favourites. Though Myazaki makes brilliant films, all his masterpeices fall to the super masterpeice(My god, how lame! ) Princess Mononoke. Watch it

I haven't seen them all. But I have seen Spirited Away. For a kids movie, I found it to be an amazing film. The animation, the language, the story- beautiful.
I could see My Neighbor Totoro at Tsunade's. I would like to see Kiki's Delivery Service, Castle in the Sky, and Princess Mononoke.

The only one I haven't seen is Nausicaa...I plan to do it soon and then I'll vote. To me it's a pretty tought choice, the movies from him that I consider his greatest masterpieces (for now) are "My Neighbor Totoro, Castle in The Sky, Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away". I know most people here will like Princess Mononoke, Castle in the Sky, or Nausicaa the best...they are the ones that are more action and the world that Miyazaki created on those movies is just awesome... But I also really like My Neighbor Totoro. It was the first Miyazaki movie I saw, when I was about 6 yrs old, and of course, it was until a couple of years ago that I found out it was by Hayao Miyazaki. This movie was a truly masterpiece...to me, no other movie I've seen gets closer to a child's mind than this movie...it doesn't have a very captivating plot, it just takes the time to show us the emotions of a childhood. Despite of the sad circumstances that sorround the main characters, this movie more than anything shows us how in childhood nearly anything you think is about having fun...in a childish way, of course. Still, I didn't add his latest film: "Howl's Moving Castle" on the poll because it's still being shown in film festivals, I think...I don't think any of us will get to see it really soon.
