fluff, you know some stoopid people . anyway, this pope will be missed, he's gone places no other pope has gone, done things that no other pope has done. there's no doubt that he culd have been the best. one thing i'll never forget about him was that last year he was being entertained by these break dancers and he was enjoying it as much as i would've ;D. that just goes to show that the pope was also a cool person as well as a great one. when i heard about him going to die, i thought it could have been part of an april fools joke (i heard the pope has a great sense of humor). unfortunetly, it wasn't .

yea, i was hopin the pope would jump up and say 'surprise!' but he didn't. he always did ahve a great sense of humor though. when he went to florida in the 80's, he said mass in the pouring rain and commented something along the lines of, "i love the beautiful sunshine state!" everyone there burst out laughing. i don't know many religious, let alone popes, who have a great sense of humor like john paul II did

As you all know I am definitely not Christian. But I respect this guy as he was a good person. He did some good things. So good that I will overlook his small religous flaw. Rest in peace mate.

Small religious flaw? Come on now- believing in something like he or any other God worshipping person does not make it a flaw to that person. It makes them a part of who they are. Actually, it is the person who makes it the flaw. The Pope made it perfection, doing things that most influenced by God or Jesus wouldn't do. It is only a flaw when you make an action that causes pain, destruction, or any type of "bad thing" in the name of God, or you did it because it was the Christian way. God's Army can suck on my b*lls, metaphorically speaking of course...

True...being religious isn't a flaw...it's being religious and not understanding why that should be considered a flaw...
In the case of the Pope...he set an example to follow. I think it's great that he was religious, coz he was the leader of a considerably big religious group, and that would make all the people from that group see and try to imitate his example. Of course, not everyone would follow it, but that's not his fault.

I had never actually head of this man until I heard he was dying. LMAO I knew about him since forever. Especially with the number of times that people tried to assassinate him... Why do people feel the need to try and kill those who try to make some good in this world of ours?

I would say it shows that you're not very aware.... That's why it also seems to me weird that somebody, 13 years old doesn't know about him...it doesn't matter if you're religious or not, everyone knew this guy...

Well, I knew there was a Pope. I just had absolutely no idea who he was or what he'd done. And by the way, I pride myself on not being very aware! ;D It's not something to be proud of, true, but I am anyway!
