Uh, first off Diesel Socialism doesn't mean everyone has the same wage. That would be communism. In socialism, government plays a more important role in controlling industry, particularly the states or provinces. Socialism puts more emphasis on cooperation of industry and where everyone is an owner in some form. This is unlike Capitalism, where industry is highly competitive. Although Socialism doesn't give everyone the same pay, it does put more focus into having less corporate businesses and taxing based on a slab system.
And DeLaRocha, all candidates are just speculation. The notion of Hilary or McCain running is ridiculous. Truthfully, Hilary has never spoken about running and mostly conservative pundits have put the empahsis on Hilary running. McCain hasn't said anything about running since before 2000. And also, Giuliani running would be part of rumors spread by the blog fest coming from the media. Do you really think Giuliani or any of his staff would consider such a thing, when the major focus of Bush getting reelected was going on? That would take attention away from Bush and his campaign.

^I find your words to be inspirational- ALWAYS! So, uh... Does anyone know who's running for the 2008 election? ;D The only names I heard were John McCain and Clinton...Hilary that is! Oh, I also heard Condoleeza Rice mentioned as well. But I would never vote for her. I would sooner vote Sloth from The Goonies into office than Rice Let's just say this... If I had to guess who was running for elections four years from now, I would only say one name: JEB BUSH And I will say this- If George Bush was a democrat, my family would vote republican. Seriously....

What you guys dont know is that big corporations in a lot of cases have more authority than the government. As you know now, since Iraq has been "liberated" all of the big company's, oil and whatever, moved right on in. Which makes me think Bush actually had a reason for invading Iraq, The Allmighty Dollar.

D.ick Cheney's little company and all (better call my friends at Halliburton!) supplying the military forces with all they need... And, why do you think that the gas prices have been going up? These big corporations want to drill oil all over the place, but a lot of us and other people in the government, don't want them to. So, they raise gas prices, making us and everyone else think that they are doing it because of lack of oil. So, when we finally break down, they get to drill, prices go down (hopefully), and the rich man is happy once again. But hey- remember me, the liberal? What do I know anyways...I'm just an immature 15 year old...

But despite that, many choose not to believe it. Some would rather support an administration that has facilely and evidently lied to them. Like Orwell said (Yes, again), the most respected and intelligent people can be fooled by politicians because of their techniques to cover their own agenda with words persuasive to the listener. And no, not all liberals get their information from Michael Moore

Everyone is taking everything so personally, which should stop. By the way, I am also more liberal than conservitive. But I dont decide who my vote goes for untill right before the ellection. There is more to voting than just what the party stands for.

Another thing about the oil. Our country has a shortage of refineries in the United States. If we are to drill all this oil, then more of these need to be built. Here is the thing though--refineries kill the ecosystem around it. That's why I am hoping H2 cars will hopefully make it on the market in the next 10 years. But with the oil lobby being so powerful I feel a hydrogen market would be impossible.

GMC had a commercial about that exact theory a while ago, they are more powerful and have more money than any oil company, except maybe exon or whatever they're called.
